A Guarantee for Greatness

Greatness can be developed. It is not always labeled on you, like some of history’s greats are enshrined for decades. But whether the credit is given or forgotten, greatness is created. It’s molded, like a person who creates a statue creates the exact representation they desire.

Life is more alterable than we give it credit for. Of course, there’s the uncontrollable and the tragedies – the things that suck. But there is so much we can cultivate in ourselves because we control ourselves. Our character, our responsibility, and our personhood is a creatable substance that can be changed. Frankly, it’s one of the things that separate people, whether they realized it or not, from being great. We don’t develop greatness for outward appearance or achievement; we achieve greatness for our own development. It’s a part of the journey of life, to become who we were meant to be. And that is not reserved to a select few, it is available to all of us.

Much of greatness can be boiled down to a simple phrase: intentionally decide. Many of us only need a decision or two, and the actions will come as we live out our decisions. It is a straightforward way to transform your life – just decide more things. But it does not end there, because there is one more word: intentionally. When you are intentional about choosing actions and mindsets in your life that help you become the person you want to be, nothing can stop you from being great. Because your greatness is not defined by someone’s trophy or history book, it is defined by you.

Go intentionally decide the person you want to be. You can do so much more than you think when you remove the natural limits of the mind. When you let go and direct your imagination in the direction of your visions, you will live a life of greatness.
