One of The Best Moments of My Life

Last Tuesday, after hours of labor and an emergency C-section, my wife Jackie and I welcomed our first child into our lives: Jesse Keefer, born May 20th, 2025 at 4:59 pm, weighing 7 lbs., 9 ounces. It was a whirlwind of an experience, one that words cannot describe and emotions cannot fully express. But the most important part was that we have a beautiful, safe and healthy baby.

In the few short days I’ve had with him so far, there’s only one word I could use to describe fatherhood: happiness. It has been pure bliss to live life with him every day. He’s full of life and cuteness in each moment, and the best part is that it’s only the beginning. There will be much more to come.

I’m sure there’s more I could share, and words I could use more eloquently, but we’re still processing it all. Today, I just wanted to share the joy we’ve had over the past 6 days welcoming Jesse into the world. As the parents reading this know, newborns are nothing but special, especially when they are your own to have and to hold.
